Black never ceases to dominate my wardrobe irrespective of
seasons, trends and even essentials. I continue to lust dreamy eyed over a
couple of more black all time favorites, namely a leather jacket and ankle
length boots, but unfortunately the city never provides me with an opportunity
to wear either.
My eyes were laid on this throwover when I was just about
scouting the streets looking for something that caught my attention. The
material promised to be light and breezy and I knew it would be the perfect cover
up for black on black. The print on it is something I have grown extremely fond of, to the extent
of working and incorporating it into assignments in terms of patterns and
design. I tried breaking the monotony of monochrome by adding a dash of gold in
the form of this necklace that was made by me over two years ago. The necklace has
hints of muted matte and shiny gold stems, and its sheer versatility makes it
the perfect go to accessory. Since the cloudy weather threatened dull and
gloomy pictures, a pop of pink worked well on the lips. That paired with winged
tip eyes using a black gel liner completed the make up for me.
