My Own Fairytale.

Very few of us get to live our fairy tales.

I've been living mine for the past two years. More or less. Keeping in mind an upcoming celebration I wanted to try something different and do my own interpretation of a classic fairytale, with a more personal and contemporary upgrade.

The location we shot at was serene and quaint in a manner unparalleled, and the light that day was so perfect I couldn't help but feel like running bare footed in my own fairytale. Talk about a dream! But instead of the quintessential glittering dresses that Cinderella is known to wear, I wanted to wear something that was a little more me, but equally elegant and exquisite. This black form flattering floor length dress (though not the typical choice for a fairytale number) created a silhouette that made me feel extremely glamorous and I thought it was only fair to let the dress have it's moment sans any accessories. The dress on it's own has so much charm and sophistication that exudes the modern day princess vibe.

I really did feel like Cinderella running to get home before midnight, only here I was running into bliss.

Object Obsession II

Jumpsuit- Diesel, Leather jacket- Stalkbuylove, Shoes- Head over heels.

I’m pretty sure all of us have put much thought into the investment of a leather jacket. Especially those of us who have to keep up with strange humid weather conditions. But all those moments of doubt disappeared into thin air when I had myself reaching out for this faux leather jacket every other day until it got too hot to wear clothes at all.

Although I had been eyeing this jacket for quite some time, I had my own mountain of apprehensions. And even after several online purchases, I still wait with bated breath for everything that has been ordered. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait too much for this one. This jacket though, does not disappoint. Be it the material, the fit or the quirky details in the form of gold zippers, there’s not one thing that does not demand love. The material makes a huge difference to me, because I’d never pin myself as somebody who would wear real leather. If you’ve been contemplating buying a leather jacket, I’d suggest you do so right away. It really does transform the way you dress.
