Quirkiness Reload.

In this post- A Girl's Smile 598 and Pasterly Rocks 519 - from STAYQUIRKY's Gel Finish Shades.

Frankly, I am not the kind of person to paint my nails only for the fear of them looking untidy and unpolished when the polish starts chipping. And on the rare occasions that I do, I cease to make use of my hands the way that I do because I want the nail polish to remain for as long as it can. But when STAYQUIRKY introduced me to their brand, I was both intrigued and apprehensive, because no polish stayed on for more than a week- no matter how careful I was with my hands. But believe me when I say this, they not only pass the test –but come out of it brilliantly.

To actually test the durability of these polishes, I had my mother paint her nails with it too. And both our nails still looked fresh even after two weeks of painting them. Now this may seem normal for a twenty-something year old, but it is saying a lot from my mother because her hands are constantly in water whilst all the cooking and cleaning that is required of mothers.

Besides the fact that they are chip resistant- STAYQUIRKY’s nail paints provide the highest quality; and shades that you can’t even deem possible. Their collection is currently available on Purplle.com with about 200 polish shades across Regular/ pearly shades, Gel finish shades, Glitters/ Shimmers, Satin effect shades, Chrome shades and so much more! Besides nail polishes their collection also includes nail care items like Base coat, Nail hardener, Matte top coats- get those ASAP- they’re all the rage, and the best of all- Nail polish removers in multiple colors!

STAYQUIRKY’s main motive is to help you find the exact shade that you want and can’t find, while also helping your nails remain strong. So the next time you’re out buying nail paint-or headed for a manicure even -STOP- and get yourself a STAYQUIRKY nail polish – so you have professionally done nails right at home.

Because honestly girl, you should never have to just settle.

In My City.

Blazer- Forever 21, Striped crop- Forever 21, Yellow pants- Hill road (Bandra), Flats- Forever 21, Sunglasses- Ray-Bans

Hello Everyone! I've been MIA for a lot of time on the blog and there's nothing to be blamed except my tardiness. For the past couple of months have literally flown by and it pains me to realize that I haven't devoted nearly half the time that I thought I would towards blogging, when I took it up. But now that I have taken it upon myself to make it happen, I'm working on quite a lot of things at the moment.

Post the Diwali festivities, I have come to realize one thing, which has to be my unparalleled love for this city that I live in. Mumbai has changed me in ways that I hadn't even deemed possible. It has inspired me, to be a more outgoing person, by taking in the quirkiness of the inhabitants here. It defined the way I dress and my comfort level around certain clothes because one thing people in Mumbai never do is judge a person on the kind of clothes they wear. You could dress up as 10 different people in a day, with nothing coming your way- except a compliment or two.

Coming down to the look here; the blazer gives the entire ensemble an air of sophistication, making it the perfect attire for the multi-tasker, shuffling between brunches and board meetings. The striped crop acts as the perfect base for the bright pop of color in the pants to steal the show. I've paired all these with round ray-bans- owing to the sun that Mumbai faces all year round. In my opinion, this look describes me and my city the best- quirky, bohemian yet understated chic.

Baby steps- Formal Dressing.

Jacket- Zara, Denims-Levis, Tank-Forever 21, Bag- Esbeda, Sunglasses- D-mart (steal!)

Ever since I've set my goals on becoming a personal shopper and stylist, all I ever dreamed about is owning a super fancy work station and wearing fancy things like blazers and heels.

Formal dressing has always been immensely fascinating to me. So each time, I saw a picture of somebody wearing a blazer, I’d turn to my mother and tell her I’d wear that once I started working professionally. In due course of time, attending workshops, meetings and events called for formal dressing. And ever since, it has been a persistent effort to dress in formalswhile keeping my personal style in mind which gravitates towards comforting casual clothing.

Even though denims are strictly categorized as casual wear in about any book that talks dress codes, I still wear denims on blazers owing to my interminable need for tardy comfort. Denims paired with any kind of blazers, trench coats, long line cardigans always turn out looking absolutely alluring. Team that with a pair of heels and a tote, super stylish sunglasses and it could literally transform your dull office attire.
